The Pink Elephant Challenge #19....time to mix it up!!!

This week Ella the Elephant has cooked up a lil something different for ya!! How about a recipe challenge!!
This one was a bit difficult for me......my mojo is trying to move someplace with cooler weather I think. Or maybe it is one of those that is just so easy I overthought it.......no jokes about my thinking!!!!! Thats not nice!!!

Ahem......as I was saying :)
This week's recipe challenge is to use 2 patterned papers.....and ONLY 2!!!, punched borders....perfect excuse to drag them out of storage! Use as many as you like!!! And dig into your stash of buttons.....sounds easy enough right? Think so? Well then cmon......bring it!!!!

Here is what I finally came up with at the last minute......and considering I photographed this outside at almost 10 pm the photo ain't half bad......LOL.

Thank goodness for digital cameras with the "night" setting!!!! I couldn't get a good shot of this indoors to save my life......darn that flash!!!

All of my papers are from Cosmo Cricket's Cogsmo collection, as is the little robot that is blending into the background....but he is there!!! I used the Fiskars border punch "Threading Water" for my border trim, some just I bought at Big Lots in the hardware dept for 50 cents!!! A great big ol roll of it too!!!! Who woulda thunk of looking for scrapping stuff in the hardware section?????? And my Alphabets are from Sassafras. Buttons are kinda hard to see but they are some from Wally World :)

Here's a shot a bit more close up....
See? Told ya that little robot was hiding :)  I will probably go back and outline him and pop dot him to give him a little oomph! Every robot needs a lil oomph! Agree?

We'd love to have you join us in the kitchen with Ella this week.......looking forward to seeing how YOUR recipe turns out!

I'm also entering this one in the
Practical Scrappers Tuesday Anniversary Challenge to just use one photo.
